Lakewood UMC is blessed with ample parking, particularly in the large lot on the south side of our building.  Visitors are invited to park in the row of spaces along the south side of the building designated as Sunday Visitor Parking.  We have available numerous handicap designated spaces for Sunday services along Brentwood Street.

Our building is handicap accessible.  For handicap access to the main and lower floors of the building, please enter at the west door (under the portico via the ramp).  The doors can be automatically opened using the activation switch at the top of the ramp.  You will enter on the main floor where you can enter our Sanctuary, adult classrooms, and enjoy coffee and fellowship in either the Parlor or Great Hall.  The elevator located by the door you entered takes you to the lower level for Children and Youth Sunday School classrooms, our Youth Room and Fellowship Hall (used for many social and fellowship functions).  Handicap accessible bathrooms are located on the lower level.

Other visitors to Lakewood UMC may enter at doors located on the east side of the building, through the south atricum entrance, or via the main west doors.  On Sunday mornings, greeters will be present to direct you to the Sanctuary, classes or fellowship time.  Any member of the hospitality team (greeters and ushers) or any staff member would be happy to answer your questions or direct you to your destination - look for people wearing the pewter or copper colored name-tags.

For meetings and events not on Sunday, it is best to enter the church via the main west doors (sometimes the south atrium doors may be open as well).  Signs identifying various rooms, restrooms, etc. are present throughout the building.
