Disciple
DISCIPLE is a program of disciplined Bible Study aimed at developing strong Christian leaders. DISCIPLE focuses on the disciple as learner, believer, follower, proclaimer, and servant. DISCIPLE provides the mutual support of the small group for study, prayer, and preparation for servanthood. DISCIPLE assumes that the Bible is the key to renewal in the church. DISCIPLE affirms that the canon was formed as it is in order for God to speak to us. DISCIPLE gives Old and New Testaments equal time, emphasizing the wholeness of the Bible as the revelation of God. DISCIPLE draws upon the work of scholars to aid understanding of the Bible. DISCIPLE aims at transformation, not just information. The purpose of DISCIPLE may be expressed in the words of Ephesians 4:12: "to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ."

The first study in the DISCIPLE program is BECOMING DISCIPLES THROUGH BIBLE STUDY, a thirty-four week journey through the biblical story from Genesis to Revelation. Completion of BECOMING DISCIPLES THROUGH BIBLE STUDY is a prerequisite to all other studies in the DISCIPLE program. Subsequent studies are thirty-two weeks in duration and take DISCIPLE graduates deeper into selected portions of Scripture.

The second study, INTO THE WORD INTO THE WORLD, concentrates on Genesis, Exodus, Luke and Acts.

The third study, REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE, concentrates on The Prophets and The Letters of Paul.

The fourth study, UNDER THE TREE OF LIFE, concentrates on The Writings, John and Revelation.
